Integrating music or Audio on Joomla Website

To allow visitors to play music on your joomla developed website, you need Joomla extension plugin. There are hundreds of plugins doing this, most important thing is to know what your joomla version is and download plugin meant for that version otherwise it will only tell successfully installed yet it won't play.

Good news is that ones you learn how to build website using joomla, all the versions are almost thesame. Just download the exact version of joomla that is inline with plugins relevant to your objective  and develop your website with it. I recommend latest version of joomla which is 2.5 as I observe that most music plugins are compatible with it.

After installing, activate the plugin, and looking at the interface by click on the plugin name. There you can play around the features depending on the plugin you choose above.

You can download Joomla 2.5 here http://www.joomla.org/download.html and set up the website using 2.5 and install each plugins above at least use I hour for each to test and familiarize yourself with each after you choose and start using the one you are more convenient  with.
